Our experience started with a call, where we were asked questions about our desired trip, travel style and must-haves. This was Blue Parallel’s first time designing an itinerary for Denmark, however they had experience in Stockholm, in Sweden.
Following our discussion, the team planned a journey which was tailored to our family’s interest and sent us an itinerary to review and approve. Our feedback was taken listened and catered to, until we had the perfect itinerary.

Can You Share 3 “Wow Moments” From Your Trip?
Three wow moments from our trip to Denmark and Sweden were:
- Culinary biking tour: We got to explore Copenhagen on bikes, alongside an excellent chef. He guided us past iconic landmarks and hidden gems, stopping to taste freshly prepared dishes that showcased Nordic cuisine. This was a highlight for the entire family. It was lots of fun and the food was fantastic.
- Boating experience: Exploring Stockholm from its scenic waterways was a highlight. It was nice to escape the busy streets of the city and offered a different perspective on Stockholm’s charm.
- Cultural museum visit: We loved the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, including the lunch at the on-site cafe. It is beautifully located which added to the experience, and our onward journey to the Frederiksborg Castle was very picturesque.
How Did You Find Your Hotels?
We had already booked our hotel in Copenhagen independently, but Blue Parallel recommended and booked the Lydmar Hotel in Stockholm. We were impressed with its cool vibe, attentive service, and excellent location.
Did All The Guides Meet Your Expectations?
Our drivers were professional, attentive, and always punctual. The Copenhagen guide was knowledgeable, approachable, and enhanced our understanding of the city.

While some restaurants could have offered more variety, we appreciated the carefully selected experiences that captured the essence of each city.

Absolutely. We didn’t know what to expect from these regions, but the itinerary gave us a really good flavor of each city. From private tours to curated cultural experiences, the trip was built around our interests.
Is There Anything You Would Have Done Differently?
Scheduling the private tour of the Vasa Museum on the day of arrival was tricky due to a delayed flight, though Blue Parallel quickly arranged an alternative visit the next day.
