TURKEY LUXURY TRAVEL

TAILOR-MADE TRAVEL TURKEY

Hailed as “The gateway to Europe,” Turkey is where continents and civilizations collide. The cradle of many of the world’s greatest ancient civilizations, it’s a country shaped by imperial history, cultural richness, and striking natural beauty. From Istanbul’s domes and waterfront palaces to the sculpted valleys of Cappadocia and the turquoise coastline of the Aegean, Turkey bears the imprint of Greek, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman influence.

Our luxury Turkey journeys are shaped by access and local insight. Wander Istanbul’s grand mosques, bazaars, and historic quarters, rise above Cappadocia in a private hot air balloon at sunrise, and cruise the Aegean aboard an elegant yacht. Along the way, archaeological sites, artisan traditions, and regional cuisine offer a deeper understanding of Turkey’s enduring heritage.

Istanbul

Straddling Europe and Asia, Istanbul is Turkey’s cultural heart and a city shaped by centuries of empire. Byzantine landmarks such as Hagia Sophia, the Basilica Cistern, and Chora Church reflect its early grandeur, while the Ottoman era left behind architectural masterpieces including Topkapi Palace, the Blue Mosque, and Süleymaniye Mosque. More recent European influences can be seen in the elegant Dolmabahçe Palace and the lively Taksim district. Beyond its monuments, Istanbul captivates through its spice markets, grand bazaars, and the ever-present waters of the Bosphorus.

Cappadocia

Cappadocia is a striking landscape of sculpted rock formations, underground cities, and ancient heritage shaped by both nature and history. Its UNESCO-listed sites include the Open Air Museum, where churches carved into volcanic stone sit among the region’s iconic “fairy chimneys.” The area’s surreal valleys and lunar-like terrain are best appreciated from above on a private hot air balloon flight at sunrise. Alongside its remarkable scenery, Cappadocia remains a centre of living tradition, long associated with artisans, pottery, and craftsmanship.

Ruins of Temple of Artemis in Ephesus, Turkey

Ephesus Region

Ephesus is one of the Mediterranean’s most significant archaeological sites and among the best-preserved ancient cities in the world. Once a thriving centre of commerce and culture, it offers an extraordinary glimpse into classical civilisation. Highlights include the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and the remarkable Library of Celsus, whose grand façade remains an enduring symbol of Roman and Greek influence in the region.

Aegean Coast

Stretching along southwestern Turkey, the Aegean Coast is known for its crystalline waters, secluded coves, and relaxed coastal atmosphere. Often referred to as the Turkish Riviera, the region combines natural beauty with understated luxury. Elegant retreats such as Amanruya provide a peaceful setting overlooking the sea, while private gulet cruises reveal hidden bays and islands accessible only by water. With its slower pace and spectacular shoreline, the Aegean Coast offers an ideal counterpoint to Turkey’s historic cities.

Overall, we had an amazing trip. We love the way Blue Parallel work and were happy that everything was pre-planned for in advance, with attention to lots of small details. We were very impressed by Cappadocia and were amazed at how beautiful it genuinely was. We enjoyed all the activities, particularly the outdoor picnic. We loved our guide in Istanbul; he was very knowledgeable and flexible with the day-to-day activities. A highlight was the hammam treatment! The private yacht that took us along the Bosphorus was perfect.

Turkey is a fascinating country and Blue Parallel designed a spectacular itinerary for us. Our guide Leyla was fabulous and contributed so much to our overall experience. She was extremely knowledgeable, had a great sense of humor and was constantly thinking of how best to organize our time in order to ensure that we experienced as much as possible. The food, sights, hotels were all top notch and I thank Blue Parallel for another superb holiday.

We enjoyed the trip to Turkey and Greece very much. We had some terrific experiences and both thought you organized the whole trip very well. It turned out to be an exciting affair on July 5th on our last night in Athens when we were witnessing the Greek people celebrating the No vote all night in Syntagma Square. Thank you for your help. It was much appreciated.
