Stockholm

Spread across a picturesque archipelago, Stockholm is Sweden’s cultural and artistic capital, where centuries of history meet contemporary Nordic sophistication. Founded in the medieval era and shaped by Viking heritage, the city is rich with grand architecture, world-class gastronomy and celebrated landmarks. From the stately Royal Opera House and City Hall, home to the annual Nobel Prize banquet, to the remarkable Vasa Museum housing the world’s only preserved seventeenth-century ship, Stockholm offers a compelling journey through Sweden’s past and present. Wandering the winding lanes of Gamla Stan, the city’s enchanting old quarter, reveals a timeless atmosphere at the heart of this Scandinavian capital.

Lulea - Swedish Lapland

A gateway to Swedish Lapland, Lulea offers an unforgettable introduction to the Arctic wilderness. Nearby, the UNESCO-listed village of Gammelstad preserves the legacy of northern Sweden’s early communities, while beyond the town frozen rivers and snow-covered forests invite exploration. From Nordic skiing and snowmobiling across pristine terrain to unwinding in a traditional wood-fired sauna, the region balances adventure with quiet indulgence. Hidden wilderness lodges and secluded treehouses nestled among snow-laden pines provide the perfect setting to witness the elusive Northern Lights beneath Lapland’s vast winter skies.

Kiruna - Swedish Lapland

Kiruna opens the door to the nomadic heritage and ancestry of the indigenous Sami people, who have called this region home for thousands of years. This remote region set deep within Swedish Lapland is also known for its spectacular natural landscapes, which are ideal for dog sledding, snowmobiling, ice fishing, and more. You can experience the celebrated Icehotel, reconstructed each winter as a remarkable work of ice and artistry, before retreating to secluded cabins surrounded by pristine wilderness and unwinding in an outdoor hot tub beneath the Northern Lights.

Every trip you offer, we will go on. Everything about Sweden was amazing and the guides were some of the top guides we’ve ever had. We loved Stockholm, that was a great city, I could see being there in the spring time would be wonderful. All in all it was a great trip. I would have spent more time with the dogs as we had so much fun dog sledding. This is right up there with some of our best trips with you, it was beautiful.

What an amazing time we had! You put together an incredible trip for us that we will truly remember. I want to commend the excellent guides we had in Stockholm, Lulea and at the Ice Hotel. They could not have been more attentive to our needs and very personable and dedicated. The hotel choice in Stockholm was really perfect for location and luxury. The lodge near Lulea was so remote and magical with over the top amenities, excursions and the most delightful meals. We have put Blue Parallel at the top of our go-to list for future trips. You have showed us there really is a better way to travel!

We visited Iceland, Norway and Sweden and overall, enjoyed our experience. Copenhagen was awesome; it was a cute city with absolutely amazing food. We enjoyed all the activities, as well as everyone we met along the way. Our guide in Stockholm was extremely knowledgeable and we had a good time with him. Highlights included the private helicopter tour in Iceland and the private cruise around Stockholm's archipelago. The Thief Hotel in Oslo was incredible. We are looking forward to our upcoming tour to Spain and Portugal this year.

Our trip to Stockholm and Copenhagen was a great experience. Our guides were fantastic, and transport was on time, clean, and efficient. In Stockholm, visiting the Vasa Museum in complete privacy was a totally different experience, and boating through the islands was great. In Copenhagen, we particularly loved the bike tour with the local chef. The Louisiana Museum was outstanding and the lunch there was a must!
