We had another amazing trip! We loved all the hotels in Spain and Portugal, especially in San Sebastian and the Douro Valley. Our guides were spectacular and we very much enjoyed their company throughout the tour. We got such an amazing insight into the wine industry, and it was very special to learn about the vineyards from the owner's family. A highlight was being able to connect with local people through various tours, lunches and tastings, and having families open their homes to us. The boat tour in Douro was great and we definitely fell in love with this region.

The guides and drivers in each location were excellent, particularly the driver and Berber guide in Marrakesh, the guide and driver in Lisbon and the guide during our drive to Porto. David, our guide for the biking and hiking in the Douro Valley was amazing. The private cooking class in Marrakesh was great fun and the staff were fantastic. The special early entry to Pena Palace in Lisbon was fabulous and invaluable. We loved Coimbra University; the students were all in robes when we visited which was quite a spectacle. The Library and Chapel was a highlight of the experience and was very, very special. Pictures do not do Douro Valley justice. The cooking class, biking adventure and boat excursion were the highlights here. The accommodations were gorgeous.

All of the guides and drivers selected by your local travel companies were superb. In Lisbon, we had Goncalo and Antonio, both so pleasant that we invited them to join us for the lovely lunch overlooking the sea in Cascais; same with Marta and Marco in Porto. It became a good way for us to get to know the local people! Having an active day of biking on Thursday was a good way of breaking up the trip and gave us an alternative to the churches and urban sights we were visiting on most of our other days. Thank you again for all of your attentiveness and assistance in making this a special vacation.

We felt as though we were discovering something very much special and under the radar. The guides and drivers were great throughout and made the trip feel very special. We loved having so many active excursions in Galicia, especially the biking, boating and hiking. Bainoa was amazing; it was a unique experience to be able to walk around an old fortress every morning. The oysters in Vigo were a highlight of the tour, as well as the picnic lunch nearby the lighthouse.

We had a wonderful time in Portugal. We especially appreciated the special touches, such as being able to interact with locals while making bread. The port tasting was also fantastic. The food throughout our journey was wonderful but we didn't need as many meals as we had organized.

Two awesome guides and everything worked so well and planned perfectly. Loved adding the biking and the hike through the village. One of the most detailed itineraries we have ever received! Especially appreciated all the health info and forms. Loved all the churches and loved the boating on the river — it was short but so fun.
