Your luxury Galapagos Islands tour starts on Ecuador’s mainland in Quito, where your personal host will greet you after your international flight arrival in the evening. They will accompany you by private transfer to Casa Gangotena, a luxurious boutique hotel in the historical center of Quito. On the first full day of your journey, you’ll explore Ecuador’s historical capital. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is nicknamed “the Florence of South America” for the artistic traditions of its colonial period. Visit the city’s picturesque churches and indulge in gourmet meals. Blue Parallel will provide you with exclusive access to the Convent of Santo Domingo in the evening, an opulent church constructed in a Latin American Baroque style, known for its breathtaking interiors and beautiful views of the city from its rooftop.
If you are traveling as a couple or small group, we recommend experiencing a Galapagos Islands luxury cruise on one of our preferred shared cruises. The boats have been handpicked for our clients and are fitted with stabilizers to minimize the effects of seasickness. In addition, each one features beautiful interiors, observation decks with lounge chairs, first-class restaurants, and spacious cabins, which we have personally vetted.
On each day of your luxury Galapagos Islands tour, you will explore different islands, beaches, and bays with expert bilingual naturalist guides. Activities include hiking, swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, and more. Blue Parallel will select the best vessel and cruise itinerary based on your profile and preferred activity level. Islands you may visit include Santiago Island, where a hike at Puerto Egas takes you through an abandoned salt mine. Then, continue past teeming tidal pools on your way to grottoes of Galapagos fur seals. Depending on the itinerary of your private Galapagos cruise, you may also stop by Española Island, hiking among the island’s dramatic cliffs to Suarez Point. This site is home to a thriving population of seabirds, including the rare Waved Albatross, which dramatically launch themselves off the cliffs toward the ocean. Also on Española Island, Gardner Bay boasts one of the most picturesque beaches for relaxing. In addition, its colorful reef is ideal for snorkeling, as Galapagos green sea turtles frequent it.
