Marrakesh (4 nights)
Your luxury tour of Morocco begins with your arrival at Casablanca or Marrakesh airport, where you will receive VIP assistance before being greeted by your personal guide and taken to the Royal Mansour, an exquisite private riad retreat in the heart of Marrakesh. Begin your private Morocco tour with a visit to the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a cup of Moroccan mint tea on a café terrace as the sun sets over the bustling square before immersing yourself in the lively local culture as you admire snake charmers, acrobats, story-tellers, magicians, joker monkeys, and peddlers of traditional medicine. Then, savor some of the country’s most exotic dishes as you embark on an insider market street food tour through smoky food stalls.
Explore more of Marrakesh’s highlights the next day and enjoy an authentic introduction to the “Red City” with your expert guide. Visit the city’s most celebrated sites, such as the Koutoubia Mosque, El Badhi Palace, the Saadian Tombs, and the elaborate 20th-century palace, Dar El Bacha.
Continue your luxury tour of Marrakesh with a glimpse at its modern side. Take a stroll through Majorelle Gardens, a 12-acre botanical oasis known for its vibrant cobalt-blue accents and exotic plant collection, designed in the 1920s and 1930s by expatriate French artist Jacques Majorelle, and browse the Berber Museum located within the garden. Then visit the nearby Yves Saint Laurent Museum, which features exhibits of the legendary designer’s creations and drawings. Afterward, return to your luxury hotel or enjoy exclusive access to high-quality rugs and other beautiful treasures with an insider shopping experience.
On your final full day in Marrakesh, wander through the labyrinth of souks in the old town with your private guide and learn about the diversity of Morocco’s traditional handmade crafts and music. Later, take part in a private Moroccan cooking class conducted by a traditional chef and dine on the fruits of your labor.
Sahara Desert (1 night)
In the morning, take a private transfer to the Marrakesh airport, followed by a private helicopter to your remote camp in the Sahara Desert. As you soar over the majestic High Atlas Mountain range, admire incredible views of the vast rocky desert dotted with oases. Arrive at your fully-staffed desert camp, where you will be surrounded by a sea of sand. Once you’ve settled into your camp, savor a private lunch set up specially for you inside your luxury tent. For sunset, explore the dunes of the Sahara with a private camel ride before indulging in a delicious three-course Berber meal as you sit by a campfire and enjoy a demonstration of traditional drum music. End your evening with a special stargazing session beneath the vast Saharan skies.
Atlas Mountains (3 nights)
Rise early to catch an unforgettable sunrise over the Sahara Desert before beginning your journey to Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Following your private helicopter transfer to Marrakesh, you’ll take a private transfer through the Ourika Valley to Kasbah Tamadot, your luxury retreat. Begin your tour of the Atlas Mountains with an introductory hike, enjoying tea and refreshments in a traditional Berber house. In the evening, take in the stunning views while enjoying a delicious Moroccan meal.
Take advantage of your first full day in the Atlas Mountains with a hike through Toubkal National Park. Ascend the Atlas Mountains, pass through tranquil forests of cedar and juniper trees, wander through picturesque meadows populated by herds of grazing goats, and enjoy panoramic views of Imlil village from above. Stop for a traditional Moroccan lunch at a local Berber restaurant in the small village of Armed, before descending and returning to your luxury accommodation for a recommended hammam treatment at the property’s spa.
The next morning, enjoy an exhilarating downhill mountain biking excursion through the Ouirgane Valley and Toubkal National Park. Bike through isolated valleys and breathtaking red clay formations before arriving at the small Berber villages of Torort and Agouni. Here, you will have stunning views of the surrounding landscape while enjoying traditional tea in a local home of a villager. Return to the hotel to relax by the infinity pool or unwind in your luxury suite tent, complete with a private terrace overlooking remote mountain villages.
