WHERE YOU'LL STAY
Discover our recommended accommodation options for your luxury tour through Panama…
Your luxury sailing tour of the San Blas Islands, a stunning, sparsely populated archipelago, begins in Panama City. Upon your arrival in Panama’s modern capital, you will be transferred to your hotel in the city’s historic Casco Viejo. There, spend the afternoon sightseeing accompanied by your local guide. The following day, take a VIP tour of the Panama Canal before visiting the renowned Frank Gehry-designed Biodiversity Museum. After a short charter flight to a remote landing strip in the San Blas archipelago, board your fully-staffed private boat to commence your luxury sailing tour. All vessels are fully staffed with an attentive captain and crew; Blue Parallel will handpick the boat depending on the size of your party. During your private tour of the San Blas Islands, you will hop between uninhabited islands with pristine beaches and equally beautiful islands that are still inhabited by the indigenous Guna people. Along the way, there will be ample opportunity for swimming or snorkeling in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean. While sailing, you will enjoy the freshest meals imaginable as your onboard chef prepares the catch of the day accompanied by succulent tropical fruits. Once your San Blas Islands sailing adventure has come to a close, return to the remote airstrip for a charter flight back to Panama City, in time to connect with your international flight back home.

Following your arrival into Panama City airport, there’s a 30-minute transfer to your hotel in the Casco Viejo (Old Quarter). Settled in 1673, the Casco Viejo was built following the near-total destruction of the original Panamá city (Panamá Viejo) in 1671, when the latter was attacked by pirates. It was designated a World Heritage Site in 1997. Your luxury Panama tour will start at the innovative biodiversity museum designed by “starchitect” Frank Gehry. As you explore the colorful origami-like canopies which were inspired by Panama’s diverse flora and fauna, you’ll learn more about the country’s status as one of the most biodiverse places in the world. In the evening, dine in a trendy Panamanian restaurant in the Casco Viejo.
The next day, explore the quaint streets of Casco Viejo and indulge in a delicious private coffee tasting as you enjoy a walking tour with your expert guide. Then visit the iconic Panama Canal for an exclusive VIP Tour accompanied by an expert engineer. During this insider tour, you’ll get a hands-on feel for the canal’s history, economic importance and engineering brilliance. Begin your tour of the canal at the Miraflores Lock where you’ll have exclusive access to view the ships up close as they change levels, making their journey from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Learn about the history of the canal while watching an IMAX documentary and then witness firsthand the old barracks where American workers once lived. You’ll have the chance to extend your experience with an optional partial crossing of the Panama Canal in your own private yacht, accompanied by the same expert engineer.
Continue your luxury Panama tour in style with a 30-minute private flight to a remote landing strip, followed by a transfer to a luxury catamaran to start your private San Blas Islands sailing experience.
The San Blas Islands are what dreams are made of: white sand beaches, swaying palm trees, pristine coral reefs, and azure waters. This is the perfect place to get away from it all.
Spend your days admiring the tranquility of these picture-postcard locations. Swim in the crystal clear water, take the kayaks out, fish for Barracuda for your evening dinners, and learn about the culture of the native Guna people.
While embarking on your sailing tour around the islands, your highly experienced captain will reveal some of the hidden treasures found in this idyllic archipelago, including Cayos Holandes and Coco Bandero
While exploring the archipelago, an attentive crew will assist with your every need. Enjoy meals prepared at your service: fresh fish, octopus or lobster bought from local fisherman you’ve passed by as you wind through the islands.
In the late afternoons, relax with a glass of champagne and then end your days with some of the world’s best stargazing from your spectacularly remote position in the San Blas Islands.
