After a short charter flight to a remote landing strip in the San Blas archipelago, board your fully-staffed private boat to commence your luxury sailing tour. Panama City (2 nights)
Following your arrival into Panama City airport, there’s a 30-minute transfer to your hotel in the Casco Viejo (Old Quarter). Settled in 1673, the Casco Viejo was built following the near-total destruction of the original Panamá city (Panamá Viejo) in 1671, when the latter was attacked by pirates. It was designated a World Heritage Site in 1997. Your luxury Panama tour will start at the innovative biodiversity museum designed by “starchitect” Frank Gehry. As you explore the colorful origami-like canopies which were inspired by Panama’s diverse flora and fauna, you’ll learn more about the country’s status as one of the most biodiverse places in the world. In the evening, dine in a trendy Panamanian restaurant in the Casco Viejo.
The next day, explore the quaint streets of Casco Viejo and indulge in a delicious private coffee tasting as you enjoy a walking tour with your expert guide.
