Panama City (2 nights)

Following your arrival into Panama City airport, there’s a 30-minute transfer to your hotel in the Casco Viejo (Old Quarter). Settled in 1673, the Casco Viejo was built following the near-total destruction of the original Panamá city (Panamá Viejo) in 1671, when the latter was attacked by pirates. It was designated a World Heritage Site in 1997. Settle into your luxury accommodations before exploring this quaint and historic neighborhood with your expert guide. Should you wish, savor a coffee tasting featuring local varieties, including the rare Panama Geisha, renowned as one of the world’s most expensive coffees. In the evening, dine at one of Casco Viejo’s stylish recommended restaurants.

The next day, start your exploration of Panama’s capital with a visit to the innovative Biodiversity Museum, designed by renowned “starchitect” Frank Gehry.
