Bahia Luxury Tours, Brazil

Rejuvenate by the famed Bahia Coast

LUXURY TRAVEL BAHIA

Travel to the Bahia coast, a region known for lush tropical vegetation and untouched beaches, during this private tour in Brazil. Begin in Salvador de Bahia, the largest city in Brazil’s Bahia state, where you will learn about the region’s colonial past as you visit Pelourinho (the old city), Mercado Model, and the Farol da Barra. From there, continue to Trancoso, an exclusive beachside enclave with a bohemian feel perfectly suited to luxury travel. After visiting the town’s charming central plaza, the Quadrado and admiring the appropriately colorful architecture, choose from a variety of active excursions. Highlights include biking in the lush Valley of Buffaloes, taking a surf lesson with a pro on the lively Itapemirim Beach, and kayaking on Rio do Barra, one of the most isolated beaches in the area. Of course, you may choose to simply enjoy a relaxing beach day as well. Your Bahia luxury tour continues with a private boat transfer to your final destination: Corumbau, a remote region populated by local indigenous communities.

Corumbau (2 nights)

Take a private boat to the secluded premises of the luxurious beachfront boutique resort Fazenda São Francisco do Corumbau. On this boating experience you will be able to visit neighboring estuaries and beautiful, deserted beaches of southern Bahia. Visit the virgin beach and natural pools of Itaquena for some snorkeling and anchor at Praia do Espelho (Mirror Beach) where you will enjoy a delicious lunch by the sea. Later, continue onto Corumbau.

The Fazenda is located across the river from the Pataxó Indian Reserve, facing the ocean and surrounded by palm trees. Explore the hidden natural paradise of Corumbau, meaning “distant place” in the local Pataxó native language.

Settle into your new environment by enjoying an invigorating walk, bike ride or jog along the 15km of deserted white sand beaches, then swim or snorkel in the ocean. During your time at Corumbau, you will be able to relax on the beach or poolside at your hotel. Sample delicious meals with organic fruit juices and vegetables supplied by the village farms and fresh seafood caught by local fishermen.

Your luxury Brazil tour ends with a private helicopter ride back to Porto Seguro airport for your departure flight.
